Report: Israel Was Warned Ahead of First Blast

(IsraelNN.com) Army Radio quoting unconfirmed reliable sources reported a short time ago that Scotland Yard had intelligence warnings of the attacks a short time before they occurred.
The Israeli Embassy in London was notified in advance, resulting in Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu remaining in his hotel room rather than make his way to the hotel adjacent to the site of the first explosion, a Liverpool Street train station, where he was to address an economic summit.
At present, train and bus service in London have been suspended following the series of attacks. No terrorist organization has claimed responsibility at this time.
Israeli officials stress the advanced Scotland Yard warning does not in any way indicate Israel was the target in the series of apparent terror attacks.

Terror suspect free to roam before blasts

A KNOWN al-Qaeda suspect was allowed into Britain to roam freely a fortnight before the London suicide bombings.
The man was not put under surveillance despite being on an MI6 "security watch list" and left a few days before the blasts rocked the capital last Thursday killing 54.
Scotland Yard boss Sir Ian Blair admitted the terror suspect was logged entering via a Channel port but still left to his own devices.
And he warned there was a "very strong possibility of more attacks", despite the bombers being killed.
Sir Ian spoke as new laws were announced making it a criminal offence to glorify or train terrorists.
He said: "With this particular man there is nothing at the moment that links him directly to the attacks.
"But what we expect to find is a clear al-Qaeda link, a clear al-Qaeda approach, because the four men who we believe are the bombers are in the category of foot soldiers."
The police chief described the bombings as "the greatest mass murder in modern English history".
He added: "What we have got to find is who encouraged them, who trained them, who is the chemist". The investigation has now spread to Egypt and Pakistan.
Sir Ian called on Britain's Muslims to help root out fanatics lurking in our midst and use the London murders as a platform to become engaged in counter-terrorism.
He said: "The fact these are British-born Muslims changes the paradigm of terror. The crucial issue now is can we engage with the community so they move from being close to denial about this into a situation in which they really engage with us?
"We need them to tell us who the preachers of hate are, the recruiters of the vulnerable.
"There is an issue about the lunatic fringe of preachers. They've just said, 'They're lunatics, we don't need to worry about them.' Unfortunately we do." Later, on a visit to a mosque in Forest Gate, East London, Sir Ian listened as iman Ramzan Qadri condemned the blasts. He said: "Islam has never given permission for such attacks to be made against any person or community."
Sir Ian told the 500 worshippers: "For you, I know, this is the worst nightmare that could happen to the British Muslim community.
"I am afraid this is your problem, and you are going to help us.
"We have to find the creatures of hate, and who they are talking to."
Sir Ian said around 250 al-Qaeda trained Muslims, who passed through camps in Afghanistan and madrassa schools in Pakistan, are under surveillance in Britain.
He also confirmed the homemade explosive acetone peroxide was found during a house raid in Leeds.
And he attacked out-dated laws that mean police can only prosecute terror suspects for conspiracy to commit public nuisance as "ridiculous".
Home Office Minister Hazel Blears rushed out details of the new laws regarding glorifying and training terrorists to boost public confidence. She announced plans for sweeping changes to protect Britain.
The measures will allow police to prosecute suspects before they commit atrocities. Anyone who gets or provides training in bomb-making or other terror activities here or overseas can be charged.
Ms Blears confirmed plans to introduce a new offence of acts preparatory to terrorism and another of inciting terrorism indirectly with inflammatory statements.
Meetings between ministers and Muslim community leaders will take place next week to find a way of forging links to prevent terror attacks.
MI5 is coming under increasing pressure over the lack of intelligence before the London blasts.
A probe will take place into its decision to downgrade Britain's security alert status from "severe general" to "substantial" in May.
US reports yesterday said the UK was warned two months ago of a plot to bomb London transport.
And a Libyan arrested on May 2 in Pakistan with a Tube map told of plans to "do another Madrid".

 Tehran, Iran, Jul. 15 – One of Iran’s most powerful clerics hinted during the Friday prayers sermon in Tehran today that last week’s London bombings could have been the work of the United Kingdom government.
Addressing worshippers at the site of Tehran University, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, who heads the powerful Guardian Council, the unelected constitutional watchdog, said, “At times they blame this [London bombings] as the work of Al’Qaeda. Al’Qaeda means [United States President George W.] Bush and [British Prime Minister Tony] Blair who were the mothers of Al’Qaeda and brought to life this illegitimate child”.
“There exists the possibility that the British government carried out this work, like the possibility [of American involvement] in the September 11 affair, since they themselves stand to benefit the most”, Jannati said.
Jannati is a close confidant of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran’s newly-elected President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is widely seen as Jannati’s protégé.
The July 7 multiple bombings in London’s underground railways and a city bus left at least 54 people dead and close to 1,000 people injured.
“The British government stood to gain the most from the London bombings, so that they could tell their people not to protest against their war on terrorism”, the senior ayatollah said.
Jannati’s comments echoed a similar speech at last week’s Friday prayers’ sermon by Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani, who blamed the bombings on the West.
The Organisation of al-Qaeda's Jihad in Europe, an al-Qaeda offshoot, claimed responsibility for the attacks, but Emami-Kashani said that the West, in particular the United States and Israel, carried the responsibility. “You who speak of al-Qaeda’s Islamic and terrorist nature, have you forgotten who are the mother and father of al-Qaeda”, the senior cleric questioned, in an address to the United Kingdom and the British Prime Minister Tony Blair. “Al-Qaeda’s father is in the White House and its mother is despotic Israel”.

MI5 onderzocht dader al in 2004
Een van de daders van de aanslagen vorige week in Londen is vorig jaar onderzocht door de Britse inlichtingendienst MI5. Zijn naam kwam naar voren in een onderzoek naar een mogelijk plan voor een aanslag op een nachtclub in Londen. De inlichtingendienst oordeelde toen dat de man geen gewaar was voor de nationale veiligheid.
Dat heeft een hooggeplaatste regeringsfunctionaris gezegd tegen de Britse krant The Sunday Times. DeMI5 onderzocht Mohammed Sidique Khan in 2004, omdat hij betrokken zou zijn bij voorbereidingen voor een aanslag met een vrachtwagenbom bij een drukke nachtclub in het Londense uitgaansgebied Soho.
'Indirecte band'
Khan bleek alleen een 'indirecte band' te hebben met de verdachten van die geplande bomaanslag, waarop de inlichtingendienst besloot geen actie te ondernemen tegen de man (lees ook Clarke: Dader niet vorig jaar al eens opgepakt).
Volgens de regeringsfunctionaris maakte de MI5 een logische beslissing, omdat de dienst zijn middelen alleen kan concentreren op personen die een direct gevaar vormen voor de nationale veiligheid.
De 30-jarige Khan, een klasse-assistent uit Dewsbury, blies zichzelf vorige week op in een metrotrein bij station Edgware Road en doodde daarmee zes andere personen.
Sluipschutters
The Sunday Times meldt verder dat geheime sluipschutterteams van de Britse politie twaalf terreurverdachten volgen, omdat de inlichtingendienst de twaalf ervan verdenkt nieuwe aanslagen te willen plegen. De verdachten zouden banden hebben met het terreurnetwerk Al-Qa'ida.
Volgens de krant hebben de sluipschutters het bevel de verdachten dood te schieten, als uit de surveillance blijkt dat een verdachte een bom draagt en hij weigert zich over te geven. De politie vreest een nieuwe golf zelfmoordaanslagen, maar heeft volgens The Sunday Times te weinig bewijs om de verdachten te arresteren.

| 'Police shot bombers' reports New Zealander |
A New Zealander working for Reuters in London says two colleagues witnessed the unconfirmed shooting by police of two apparent suicide bombers outside the HSBC tower at Canary Wharf in London.
The New Zealander, who did not want to be named, said the killing of the two men wearing bombs happened at 10.30am on Thursday (London time).
Following the shooting, the 8000 workers in the 44-storey tower were told to stay away from windows and remain in the building for at least six hours, the New Zealand man said.
He was not prepared to give the names of his two English colleagues, who he said witnessed the shooting from a building across the road from the tower.
Reports of attacks carried out by suicide bombers have been rife in London.
Canada's Globe and Mail newspaper reported an unconfirmed incident of police shooting a bomber outside the HSBC tower.
Canadian Brendan Spinks, who works on the 18th floor of the tower, said he saw a "massive rush of policemen" outside the building after London was rocked by the bombings. |

Wat is de conclusie ? Ze hebben in London willens en wetens wat islamfascisten hun gang laten gaan om daarna extra streng (middels nieuwe anti-terreur wetgeving) de bevolking (met name moslims) onder de duim te kunnen houden.

Ik ken de BBC uitzending en daarin wordt dit absoluut niet geopperd. Er zijn heden tendage overal bijeenkomsten over veiligheid dus dat Guilliani er 'zelfs voor in London was' is puur toeval (of denken jullie dat ze hem gelokt hebben met de belofte van wat 'Live action' ?) , er schijnt zelfs iemand te zijn (nederlander of duitser) die vlakbij in London was en vlakbij het WTC, stom toeval.

Neem aan dat je 'jouw conclusie' erbij bedoeld? Want de rest staat er wel in. Een grote oefening kan gelijktijdig plaatsvinden, inderdaad. Maar wat als ze die de volgende dag alweer gaan ontkennen, afzwakken? Daar gaat dit in *basis* om: wat proberen ze weg te wissen?

EXCLUSIVE: WAS IT SUICIDE?
Why did they buy return train tickets to Luton? Why did they buy pay & display tickets for cars? Why were there no usual shouts of 'Allah Akhbar'? Why were bombs in bags and not on their bodies?

THE London bombers may have been duped into killing themselves so their secrets stayed hidden.
Police and MI5 are probing if the four men were told by their al-Qaeda controller they had time to escape after setting off timers. Instead, the devices exploded immediately.
A security source said: "If the bombers lived and were caught they'd probably have cracked. Would their masters have allowed that to happen? We think not."
The evidence is compelling: The terrorists bought return rail tickets, and pay and display car park tickets, before boarding _ a train at Luton for London. None of the men was heard to cry "Allah Akhbar!" - "God is great" - usually screamed by suicide bombers as they detonate their bomb.
Their devices were in large rucksacks which could be easily dumped instead of being strapped to their bodies. They carried wallets containing their driving licences, bank cards and other personal items. Suicide bombers normally strip themselves of identifying material.
Similar terror attacks against public transport in Madrid last year were carried out by recruits who had time to escape and planned to strike again.
Bomber Hasib Hussain detonated his device at the rear of the top deck of a No 30 bus, not in the middle of the bottom deck where most damage would be caused.
Additionally, two of the bombers had strong personal reasons for staying alive.
Jermaine Lindsay's partner Samantha Lewthwaite, 22, mother of his one-year-old son, is expecting her second baby within days. Mohammed Sidique Khan's wife Hasina, mum of a 14-month-old daughter, is also pregnant.
Our source disclosed: "The theory that they were not a suicide squad is gathering pace. They were the weakest link.
"We think it's possible they were told that when they pressed buttons to set off timers they'd have a short time to abandon the bombs and get away before the blast. Instead, the bombs exploded immediately."
Another intelligence source added: "Whoever is behind this didn't want to waste their best operatives on a suicide mission. Instead they used easily recruited low-grade men who may have believed they'd walk away."
London police avoid term 'suicide bombing'
LONDON (Reuters) - Police have not yet definitively established that four men who carried bombs on to London's transport network intended to die in last week's blasts, a Scotland Yard spokesman said on Saturday.
He was commenting on a report in the Daily Mirror newspaper suggesting the bombers, who all died in the July 7 explosions, may have thought they had time to get away after planting the devices.
Police have carefully refrained throughout the investigation from publicly using the term "suicide bomber," describing the four men only as bombing suspects.
"We've never used the phrase 'suicide bombers'. We've always been aware that among the things we need to clarify is the notion these people intended to die as well as letting off a bomb," the spokesman said.
Asked what alternative explanations were possible, he said: "Obviously, there's human error of various types or misjudgments of various types. It may seem unlikely, but that's policing -- you start with all the possibilities and narrow down the certainties."
Fifty-five people died in the blasts on three underground trains and a bus. Police suspect the attacks were masterminded by al Qaeda Islamist militants.
The Daily Mirror report said several factors cast doubt on the suicide theory -- two of the men had pregnant wives, they did not carry the explosives strapped to their bodies, and they bought return rail tickets from Luton to London.
It quoted unnamed security sources as suggesting the bombers may have been duped into believing they could escape unscathed.

London Bombings - Web of Deceit: Peter Power, The Terror Drill, Giuliani and The CIA

As we revealed last week, on the very morning of the Bombings, a consultancy agency with government and police connections was running an exercise for an unnamed company that revolved around the London Underground being bombed at the exact same times and locations.
On a BBC Radio 5 interview that aired on the evening of the 7th, the host interviewed Peter Power, a former Scotland Yard official, working at one time with the Anti Terrorist Branch, now Managing Director of Visor Consultants, which bills itself as a 'crisis management' advice company.
Power was quoted as saying "At half past nine this morning we were actually running an exercise for a company of over a thousand people in London based on simultaneous bombs going off precisely at the railway stations where it happened this morning, so I still have the hairs on the back of my neck standing up right now"
Beyond the unbelievable "coincidence" of this scenario, the very fact that the bombs in the drill were simultaneous is a smoking gun because almost a week went by before it was revealed that the bombs had gone off simultaneously.
The importance of this drill cannot be understated. This is precisely what happened on the morning of 9/11/2001. The CIA was conducting drills of flying hijacked planes into the WTC and Pentagon at 8:30 in the morning. The two scenarios are comparable in that it is a tried and tested method of navigating around the everyday security services, and, more importantly, if the perpetrators get caught during the attack or after with any incriminating evidence they can just claim that they were just taking part in an exercise.
Peter Power has since toned down his claims in further interviews, changing his story of the drill to make it seem less identical to the real attacks. He has also issued a statement via e-mail in response to the thousands of requests he is receiving demanding clarity on the issue, that reemphasizes his backing away from his original "precisely" comment.
It seems that Power may feel he is in too deep and is backing away from the whole incident. This is probably due to the fact that Power himself and his company are not directly involved in the bombings, they have simply been used as a tool in a larger operation.
Power has been hired by the government before and he is always used to release information after terrorist incidents in London.
Two previous examples of this are the March 2001 BBC television center bombing and the September 2000 rocket attack on the MI6 building.
Was Power again used by the government as a conduit for information that would support their official version of events?
Power's comments (below) seem to suggest that his company was somehow involved in the response to the ACTUAL attacks, so if they were not working on behalf of London Underground or the Government then how were they allowed to be actively involved at multiple crime scenes?
In short, our exercise (which involved just a few people as crisis managers actually responding to a simulated series of activities involving, on paper, 1000 staff) quickly became the real thing and the players that morning responded very well indeed to the sudden reality of events.
Power is named among the elite of the Business Continuity (BC) community, he has regularly appeared on the BBC, covering terror incidents, as the "expert" when it comes to managing the crisis. He is also referred to extensively in a working paper on BC issued by the Bank of England, HM Treasury and FSA and has written for the British Bankers Association. His former clients make for interesting reading, they being JP Morgan Chase, ING, Mellon, Lloyds TSB, Morley Fund Management, Bank of New York, Arcadia Group, FCO and Universal Music.
Power has also spent time on the Advisory Board to the Canadian Centre for Emergency Preparedness(CCEP). This is significant due to the fact that a key member of that board was Richard Sheirer, Senior Vice President of Giuliani & Partners. Here they are listed together.
Sheirer was intimately involved along with Guiliani in the "crisis management" on 9/11. Giuliani himself was in London on 7th July after traveling down from Yorkshire from a speaking engagement at the Local Government Association conference in Harrogate, where he received a standing ovation for praising Tony Blair and hyping the war on terror.
Giuliani was also coincidentally only "yards from Liverpool Street station when the bombs went off." and later that day went on several TV networks saying that the crisis management teams (Peter Power's team, or so he would have us believe) seemed like they were expecting the bombing to take place.
Giuliani has met several times with government and police officials in London since 9/11.
CIA connections
The web of deceit extends further and the connections deepen when you take a look at the background of the Commissioner of Transport for London, Bob Kiley. Kiley also has connections with Giuliani.
During his time as President and CEO of the New York City Partnership, the city's leading business and civic organization, Kiley came into contact with Giuliani regularly, and was even backed by Giuliani as a candidate for city schools chancellor. Kiley was also a member of Giuliani's "Mayoral Task Force on Tax Reduction and Restructuring" in 1999. The two are also connected through New York City’s deputy mayor for economic development and rebuilding (after 9/11), Daniel Doctoroff, whom Kiley introduced to Giuliani.
Kiley was also an advisory to the Mayor's office on traffic management in New York, suggesting "eliminating toll booths and just putting transponders on every car's license plate. That way, motorists would automatically be charged ever time they rode on a heavily traveled bridge or tunnel -- or even a highway or major street -- during a time of peak usage."
Early in his career Kiley was tapped by the CIA and quickly became Manager of Intelligence Operations and then Executive Assistant to the Director. Kiley served under Richard Helms, who was appointed CIA director after JFK was taken out. Helms was the only director to have been convicted of lying to Congress over CIA undercover activities and served time in prison. He was heavily involved in the cover up of the MK ULTRA project. As his Executive Assistant, this means Kiley was also intimately involved.
Kiley is also incidentally a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. We should be asking ourselves why is this CIA activist and high member of the Establishment, in charge of London's Transport network?
The Establishment have their mits all over this latest staged attrocity, you can carry on probing deeper into the rabbit hole and you always come across the same elite figures and organizations, hiding in every darkened nook and cranny.
It's a certainty that as the weeks and months go by more and more questionable connections will emerge.

During the ten years I worked in the Middle east too, I often heard people speak about the 'Zero option': Palestinians and others that sometimes were trained in - what they thought were 'Jihad camps' - and got hand grenades or bombs with timers to execute attacks.
