Oct. 5, 2005 - Drug Education and Drug Prevention

The Scientology Effective Solutions web site reports that:

Mr. Bo Persson, President of Narconon Europe, will be one of the guest speakers at the Foundation for a Drug-Free Europe anti-drug conference being hosted by the Church of Scientology International European Office for Public Affairs and Human Rights on October 12, 2005.

The Foundation was established in May 2004 to unite and coordinate the efforts of members of civil society involved in the fight against drugs in Europe.

The Drug Free Marshals is a youth group the Church started about 12 years ago.  This is a beautiful program because it is so simple, and anyone can set up their own group.  Kids pledge to be drug free and help their friends decide to do so too. 

If everyone who is concerned about the drug problem DID something about it we'd have it licked.
