Jun. 28, 2006 - Narconon Centers Support International Day Against Drug Abuse

I found this article from PR Web on the work of Narconon to combat drug use by teens and kids.
I support Narconon. They are tremendously effective in helping
with the rehabilitation of drug addicts and with all their experience
for the past 30 years they know what it takes to keep kids from taking
drugs in the first place.
"Drugs Are Not Child's Play" is the theme of the 2006 international campaign.
Since 1987, the UN General Assembly has observed 26 June as the
International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking as an
expression of its determination to strengthen action and cooperation to
achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse.
UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime) has selected "Drugs
Are Not Child's Play" as the theme of its 2006 international campaign.
The focus of this campaign is to increase public awareness about the
destructive power of drugs and society's responsibility to care for the
well-being of children.

There is a lot of good information to help kids get a real understanding of the effects of drugs on the Scientology Anti-Drug web site.
