Been awhile since i've done an update here, but here goes.  still looking for a job (sucks), and thats just pissing me off.  lol.  in other news, i've downloaded pearpc along with a installed image of osx.  (pearpc is a mac osx emu) Works fine, if not slow since i'm running it on a 1 gig processor, and i'm working on getting the network running on it so i can putz with ichat.  i SHOULD be able to get itup and running sometime within the next few hours (i hope) after i figure out how to get my firewall to cooperate and let the vpn driver connect to my main nic card.  i'll keep you all updated on how its going.  oh btw osx Tiger comes out next month!  if i had a mac i think go nutz waiting for it.  LOL

What a crappy week so far.  still no word on a job, naruto got picked up so fansub groups are going to drop it so they won't break copyright laws, IE is getting a makeover before LH, (not like i care as long as FF keeps kicking IE's ass).  in other news, last week's sg-1 was great, but i've yet to watch this weeks so we'll see how that one ends up.  Played thru Knights of the Old Republic 2, and i have to say the first one was MUCH better, and that then ending on this one REALLY sucked.  i'd be happy if i could continue playing the game as my character and just go  on to where he goes to fight to true sith empire outside of the galactic rim with Revan.  but the company that made this one was retarded and said "after 7 worlds i don't want to do anymore, even tho we could possibly offer a sidequest to get HK-47 to unlock the navicomputer so you could go to the other 5 worlds that are just brighter stars."  fuck i was pissed that you couldn't unlock them even tho i'm sure it was part of the original game plan.  otherwise don't bother with it unless you need a time waster.  

Just making an update.  i'm trying out trillian pro 3.0 and so far i likes it.  update for buffy/angel fans, at suncoast in the janesville mall they have a deal going where if you buy a box set of either buffy or angel (any season) you can get the movie buffy the vampire slayer for free.  makes me wish i had money for that.  hehe.  today KOTOR II The Sith Lords ships to stores for pc, and i'm getting pretty excited about that too.  reading is going slow i guess and the library is doing a trace on the next book in the series since its missing from the paperback rack.  I also applied for Stougton Trailers yesterday morning and my brother said he would talk to his supervisor and put in a good word for me.  so i hope i get a job there.  still itching to get a mini mac or maybe just wait until i'm rolling in the dough and buy a ibook heh.  Saw a article yesterday about the ps3's processor.  it sounds REALLY nice.  well i'll keep updating this when i have something to talk about.  hehe

Its been an odd 2 days for me and i'm left with the emptiness that comes from the loss of favorite characters in a book and 2 shows.  It would appear that Stargate Atlantis has finished its season 1 run with a VERY good cliffhanger, and will finish it at the beginning of season 2.  the possiblities that 2 of the main characters in atlantis coming back next season don't look too good at the moment, with Sheperd piloting a Puddlejumper into a Wraith hive ship and i'm not quite sure what happened to Ta'la, but i'm guessing she's heading for the jumper bay to take the second nuke to the other wraith hive ship.  Sg-1 is almost done with its eighth season where we find out that Anubis is still alive and weakend by his loss of forces when he attacked earth, and acting thru Baal.  The replicators it would appear have also been destroyed completely thanks to danial stopping the replicators for several minutes by hacking Sixth's commands.  Afterwords she killed him.  (death number 2 for danial and hopefully a second chance at acession.) In Starwars news i'm just plain numb.  the youngest son of han and leia is now dead in the line of duty and saved his older brother and sister along with the rest of a jedi strike team.  he died like a jedi master tho so i'm not as numb as i could be.

Cleaned my room today, (well most of it anyways) and it looks ALOT better.  my couch actually looks like a couch!  its amazing!  :)  got rid of my mini fridge since i didn't really use it anymore, threw away some broken cd roms and some old ass sound cards.  now i need to eventually get started on the rest of my room (which is a freaking mess!)

I don't expect half of you to even know what manga is, but in short itsa japanese comic.  (no i don't read japanese, but groups translateit) Naruto is a story about a young boy who is feared by the people inhis native village and without parents.  The story is about hislife, where he is training to be a ninja.  After about a month orso of waiting for this newest chapter to come out and wondering if theauthor would skip ahead 2 years or not (which he did) and its justamazing the changes he's made in the outfits of 2 of the 3 maincharacters and how much he's "matured" the main character.  Thisis a really good manga and its also running as an anime right nowtoo.  both are very good and i just wish that they'd hurry up andget the anime caught up to the manga (getting closer but probably willbe another 10 episodes before it gets to the last chapter.) If any ofyou would like to get a copy of the manga off me, it won't be a problemsince i have all the chapters up to the current one.  just e-mailme at stonegrinder@charter.net if you'e interested in it and i'll sendit to you.  :)

I just finished a book in the extended star wars universe and i'm totally convinced that if this series of books is really popular that lucasarts has missed a nice little money maker.  If i were designers at Lucas Arts I would be doing as much research on the characters in the extended universe and start planning level lay outs and how to set the tags on certain enemies.  Now if you aren't a game person or don't know what the term "tag" means in the gaming and computer programming world, it basicly means that if you do something at a certain place or try to interact with something one way or another it will either cause an event or do nothing.  Examples would be like walking thru a door and as soon as the door opens something will happen.  anyways, i think i'm going to e-mail lucas arts and let them know about this idea.  I'm a sucker for any game that lets you play as a jedi, but this game would be REALLY good i think.  LOL

just decided that this would be a interesting idea to try out so here i am with my own blog now, and i don't even know what to write about!  well not really.  I have alot of stuff that i can write about so i will probably write about them.  :) 

Well i've been a windows person for years now and couldn't stand macs in high school but oddly enough i started out with macs way back in the day (elementary school).  Well now i'm sick of windows and i'm itching to buy a mac and now that they have those neat new mac minis i might do that as soon as i get a job.  (pc people feel free to flame me, cuz i don't care :-P)
