Aware of How our Body Retains Our BP Average?Jun. 22, 2006

Body knows what are the ways to regulate & monitors its blood pressure. Blood pressure could be sensed by the sensors found in the walls of the arteries and the heart. Baroreceptors is the name given to these particular sensors. Baroreceptors can feel Blood pressure & then send signs to the kidneys, the arterioles, the heart and the veins that force these organs to form changes that lower or increase BP. There are numerous ways in which blood pressure can be adjusted:

Raised heart speed may lead to the more frequent shrinking of heart & ejects more blood. Such two responses increase the flow of blood into the arteries and elevate blood pressure.

Veins perform two movts expansion and contraction. Whenever enlargement movement is carried out more blood get collected in the veins and the heart cannot have sufficient blood. Finally blood pressure becomes less as heart pumps less amount of blood. On the other hand, When and if veins contract, less blood is reserved in the veins, maximum amount of blood returns to The heart for pumping into arteries, and, therefore, the heart pumps more blood and BP is elevated.

The arterioles carry out two movts narrowing and enlargement. When and if arterioles extend blood pressure lessens due to less resistance to the flow of blood & when arterioles shrink blood pressure raises due to more resistance to the flow of blood.

By raising or lowering the amount of urine still kidney can tell you about the alterations in your blood pressure. Urine is basically amount of water which is taken out of blood so that if a kidney produces more urine amount, volume of blood that fulfills the arteries and veins lowers, and this dimishes BP.
