HDTV means High Definition TVs. The Digital HDTV Grand Alliance
introduced this invention at the time of 1990s in the United States of America
originally. This is specified as 1080 active lines, 16 x 9 aspect proportionally
in ITU-R BT.709.
High defintion TV suggests display of large screen pictures with
much more refinement and sharpness than seen in standard analog TV, or some another digital
television formats. It is basically a Digital Television
presentation format, and is believed to be the top quality DTV format
available.
HDTV is attainable in direct-view, plasma, rear screen, and
front screen projection. High defintion TV must have a HDTV tuner to look and
the most specified HDTV format is 1080i.
