TakingITGlobal and UNESCO invite the submission of images and creative writings that interpret and express violence as a feeling, as language, and that explore alternative languages to violence. A limited selection of submissions will be chosen for a special publication which will be produced in print and online. The publication will spotlight the manifold forms of violence that young people encounter, perceive, and express in their daily social environment, with the ultimate aim of actively exploring and developing alternative languages to violence. The primary objective to shed some light on the multiple dimensions of the causes, contents, nature, and consequences of violence(s). For further information, and to submit images and writings.
