I've updated my resource regarding nonprofits/NGOs/civil society using Online Social Networking (OSN) such as LinkedIN, MySpace and so forth as volunteer recruitment and volunteer involvement tools. Is OSN just a fad, or is it something that community-serving organizations should utilize and, if so, how can they *really* use it to mobilize support? I've done my best to answer this, and to offer a realistic set of possibilities and considerations, giving most nonprofit organizations' extremely limited resources.
