The Aid Workers Network offers "Practical Advice for Aid Workers, by Aid Workers." The site's centerpiece is an online forum, where members can ask and answer questions, post resources, debate various aspects of development work or offer updates on their own experiences. The site also features advice pages for aid workers and links to various blogs by development workers all over the world. Membership is free, and members can update their their online profile to provide information about themselves and their work, and what issues are most important to each. Whether you are a current or previous paid staff member, consultant or volunteer working in aid and development, anywhere in the world, the Aid Workers Network is YOUR community, with a wealth of experience at your disposal. (I have supported AWN as a volunteer for many years)
