There are lots of posts in a variety of online groups about how this or that group produced a "viral video" or sent out "tweets" on Twitter to "mobilize" volunteers/activists for the recent elections in the USA -- but rare are the articles or blog entries or discussions that say what it is the volunteers or activists were mobilized to actually do, and how the actions of volunteers/activists were measured.

If you see a post on any web site or online discussion group or blog that talks about how technology was used to manage, support or "mobilize" volunteers or activists, and it talks about something specific about what the volunteers actually did as a result of the use of tech (not just that they were "mobilized" or "motivated"), please contact me. I would love to point to various examples but, so far, everything I have found has been too vague.
