VolunteerMatch improves searches for online volunteering!

My wish has finally come true: VolunteerMatch now allows users to search for virtual volunteering opportunities with specific criteria relating to the type of organization (focused on women, the environment, children, animals, etc.) rather than only by location within the USA. While most people who volunteer online look for opportunities in their own geographic area, there are those that are looking to help a particular type of organization to support as an online volunteer, regardless of the organization's location, and at long last, VolunteerMatch serves those volunteers as well! This is a HUGE improvement! I've already signed up for two virtual opportunities myself - hope the organizations get back to me!One complaint remains: so many of the opportunities listed as virtual aren't at all; rather, they are traditional opportunities that require a volunteer to come onsite to provide his or her volunteering service, rather than providing it from a home, work or school computer. Opportunities should be vetted before posting, as they are at the UN's Online Volunteering service, to ensure that they are categorized properly.
Still, with that said: way to go VolunteerMatch!
