Often, when you do an online search on a topic, the first page that comes up in a search tool such as Google is Wikipedia (at least for search phrases in English and German). Also, many people go straight to Wikipedia to get a briefing about a particular topic before they look for more detailed information.

That's why it's so important that pages on Wikipedia relating to nonprofit organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), volunteering/volunteerism, etc. are robust, with accurate information from a variety of knowledgeable people.

If you have expertise relating to any of the following topics, please consider devoting some virtual volunteering/online volunteering time and help edit these Wikipedia pages. Additional information with inline citations is very much needed for these pages relating to nonprofits:
This is also a great opportunity for you to become more comfortable using a wiki and with collaborating online with others -- two skills that are very important in today's work place!

In the interest of transparency, if you choose to edit any of these pages, I hope you will create a Wikipedia account, if you don't have one already, and add text to your user page. This will allow everyone working to update these pages to know who is doing what. Here's mine.
