It's Saturday, and that means it's personal blog day. And once again... it's going to be focused on women in Afghanistan. They are still there, they are still struggling, and they still need your support. You are NOT being culturally insensitive by supporting the cause for women's empowerment in Afghanistan, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Here are two updates from the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) worth your time: Keep yourself updated about what's happening with women in Afghanistan, so you can talk to your friends, and write your House of Representatives dude or dudette, and your Senators, to let them know you expect them to keep pressuring Afghanistan regarding the rights of women. If it weren't for outside pressure, the women of Afghanistan would have little hope. You CAN make a difference!
