My only computer access is via my lime clamshell iBook that I bought in 2001. It still has OS9, and I use it to browse the Internet, listen to live audio streams, download and listen to music (legally, ofcourse), create and manipulate graphics, manage my own web site, create and manage databases (projects management database, a volunteer management database, and more), open and use files from other people, and oh so much more. Yes, I walk my talk regarding using old hardware and software, showing that it has a much, much longer shelf life than the manufacturers, the media and others will admit. And I hope my story can help others using "older" computer tech to get more speed and power from such.
