Why Tech Is So Hard to Use Even for "Techies"

My own account of trying to buy a "new" technology and, despite my attempts to do all the necessary research, making a costly error (it involves an iPod Mini). This is also an example of how software and hardware companies make finding information difficult to find, and very difficult to understand -- even for people who are supposedly tech literate.
