Through this Feminist Majority Foundation web site, as well as through media interviews, news stories, op-eds, visibility events, speaking engagements, organizational briefings, online organizing, and public education materials, the Feminist Majority Foundation has worked to bring public attention to the fragility of women's rights in Afghanistan, absence of major reconstruction activity, and persistent security needs as well as the return of extreme fundamentalist militias and the Taliban to regions of Afghanistan. The online Daily Feminist News provides ongoing reports and updates on the situation of women's rights and human rights in Afghanistan. This Campaign for Afghan Women and Girls web site also provides opportunities for online activism on behalf of Afghan women and girls. With the news stories, we provide online action alerts, such as urging expansion of peacekeeping forces and increased funds for reconstruction.
