International Volunteer Day, as designated by the United Nations, is 5 December. This is a day to celebrate volunteers anywhere in the world, engaged in activities they feel passionate about. The World Volunteer Web is seeking stories, photos and videos relating to your volunteering. Please visit the site for information on how to share your stories, photos and videos of volunteers (or your own self in actin as a volunteer!), as well as resources you can use to organize your own IVD event. Information is also available in Spanish and French. The World Volunteer Web is an initiative of the United Nations Volunteers programme.
