February 22 is the deadline for nonprofit organizations, schools and other qualifiying institutions to apply for a CTC VISTA volunteer for the summer of 2008. CTC VISTAS are Americorps members who receive a small stipend in return for their full-time service to organizations that use information and communications technologies to meet the needs of at-risk and low-income communities. Since its inception seven years ago, the project has placed more than 250 VISTA members in over 100 nonprofit organizations. Organizations can apply here for CTC VISTA assistance.
