It's been out for almost a year, but I only finally just got around to buying Tommy Womack's latest CD, There, I Said It! And what a mistake it was to wait so long! It's the best CD I have heard in years. I have sat here tapping my foot, sometimes laughing (a must when listing to Tommy), and once, even getting a bit choked up. But don't just take my word for it: it was on the BEST OF 2007 in the No Depression Magazine “Critics Poll” & “Readers Poll”, among others. Yes, I know Tommy, but I can't always give these kinds of ringing endorsements to people I know. In this case, I can! You can buy There, I Said It! on Amazon, you can buy it on Miles of Music, you can buy it (pay-to-download it) on emusic (as I did), or, even better, you can buy it from your local, independently-owned CD store. And you can go see Tommy LIVE, most often in Nashville, but more than a few times out and about in the USA; you can find the tour dates at Tommy's web site. Now, seriously, buy this CD.
