Following up on the International Year of Volunteers (2001), United Nations Volunteers invites you to take part in an online consultation. This aims to better understand the trends, successes, challenges and lessons learned in the world of volunteering since 2001. You are invited to take part in a very short (5-10 minutes maximum) online survey that will help in writing a background paper on volunteering. This background paper will then inform a report that the UN Secretary General will submit to the 63rd General Assembly later this year. All responses can be anonymous - but with your permission we will also try and contact you to follow-up on their ideas, inputs, initiatives and success stories. The deadline for submission is Friday February 29. the survey is available in English, Spanish and French
