Jun. 1, 2008 - Required Listening: The Giant Pool of Money

No matter what you have to cancel and what lengths you have to go to make this happen, take an hour ASAP to listen to this episode from This American Life: episode 355: The Giant Pool of Money. It's from May 9, 2008, and it's free to listen to online. In simple, often funny, always enlightening and interesting terms, this episode of This American Life explains the USA housing/credit crisis  -- how it happened, and why it's a global phenomena, and how it relates to "The Global Pool of Money." The lessons you learn from it could affect the rest of your life. Even if you don't live in the USA, this is a really important episode to listen to, because the unscrupulous banking and investment practices talked about happen worldwide.
