I'm volunteering online with an organization that is working to bring very short-term volunteers to developing countries to help with very specific local income-generating projects/small businesses.

Right now, they are looking for professionals who have experience in any of the following:
  • Food processing (tomato paste, beekeeping, pickled vegetables, dried fruits and nuts, etc.)
  • Soccer ball manufacturing
  • Carpentry – furniture manufacturing
  • Commercial printing
  • Fuel distribution
  • Radio broadcasting
  • Business Development Services
The organization is looking for people who have worked professionally in any of the above activities. It has to be more than you want to help -- you need to have professional experience in one of these activities. If you are interested and have the professional background, contact me and I will give you more details. If you know of someone who might have any of these skills and might be interested in going to, say, Rwanda for four weeks to help women there trying to start or expand these activities, forward this message.
