For the last 12 years, I have been closely identified with two issues: how mission-based organizations can and do use computer and Internet technologies, and online volunteering/virtual volunteering. It's been a pleasure to work so intensively on those two issues -- but lately, my horizons are expanding and I'm looking to work in new areas (and, in some cases return to areas where I have professional roots).
I have listed my professional priorities here -- issues that I'm actively researching, reading and writing about. With more time and funding, I would love to engage in any of these areas more fully. I'm also interested in hearing from others who are involved in any of these issues and would like to work with me or just to share information. You will notice that I'm not abandoning my work or interests in online volunteering or computer tech for mission-based organizations -- but I'm no longer limiting myself to those areas either.
