Jan. 29, 2007 - The Stress & Your Health

The aftermaths of work are not hidden from any individual. We've as well seen some unpleasent "exhausion" effect of exposure to long-lasting stress. These consequences will too affect your well being - either with direct biological harm to your body, or with bad behavioral effects.

The behavioral effects of stress
The behavioral aftermaths of an over-stressed culture are apparent to interpret. When suffering from Stress, certain individuals often like to drink alcohol heavily or smoke, for the sake of attaining instantaneous chemical reprieve from the stress.

Other people can have huge work to do that they don't workout or eat correctly. They may not sleep, or will worry so much that they sleep badly. Some people may get so carried away with their job & facing daily pressures that they do not have time to see the doctor or dentist if they need to. Eventually all this establish bad for your well being.

How stress is connected to heart diseases?
There is direct relation between the stress and the heart disease. In case if stress is strong, and the hormones of stress aren't 'used up' by bodily action, our raised rate of heart and excessive blood pressure put tension on the arteries and can hurt them. As the human body mends this effect, the walls of arteries get scarred & freeze, which may decrease the blood supply and oxygen to the heart.
