| What is High Blood Pressure?
Elevated
blood pressure might be mount in force imposed by moving
blood on the walls of artery as a common reaction to tension and normal
activity. But, if this pressure remains constantly high (high blood
pressure as it is known), it can overwork your arteries and heart. High
blood pressure leads to heart attacks and strokes.
Reading Your Blood Pressure
The systolic and the diastolic are two values in which blood
pressure is read by doctors. Millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) is the
checking unit of blood pressure.
Extreme Bloodpressure might be defined in a mature person as a blood pressure
greater than or equal to 140 mm Hg systolic pressure, or higher or
equal to 90 mm Hg diastolic pressure. But, a blood pressure reading
greater than 140/90 shows hypertension and is observed strange at any
age.
