Triathlete Education Workshops

The PTC Coaching Team is delighted to announce three triathlete education workshops. The workshops will take place on Monday nights at Mount Batten Centre during the October recovery period that all us triathletes should be embarking on. The sessions are free to members of the club. Other guests (family, friends, etc) are asked to contribute a £2 to the club funds.

The workshops will be aimed at developing triathletes but will also be of benefit to more experienced athetes. Bike Maintenance/Set-up (topics will include; bike equipment advice (e.g. I have a budget of £1000 –what do I choose),  bike set-up, adapting road bike for triathlon, setting up tri-bars, checking bike, regular maintenance, road side/emergency repairs)   8th October – 7pm to 8.30pm

Plymouth Tri Club kit for Christmas

For all those wondering what to tell you family and friends to get you this Christmas, why not ask for some new PTC racing or training kit. Adam will be making a group order at the end of October, which will be back with you by Christmas.

This season has seen the club colours displayed all over the country, at events both home and abroad. The kit is supplied at cost and is manufactured by Imp Sport, official suppliers to the Great Britain Cycling team. The PTC kit designs will remain the same for next season, and can be viewed on the club website.

To find out prices and to order any kit, e-mail Adam Birnie on adambirnie@blueyonder.co.uk or clubkit@plymouthtriclub.co.uk
